  I manage and develop programs for children and adults with special needs (e.g. Autism, Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Angolan Syndrome). I have worked with children and adults from 1 and half to 44 years old. I train intervention staff in effective implementation of client goals and work with them to address learning and behavioral barriers on the part of the child. Additionally, I work with families who have children or adults with developmental disabilities and train them in behavioral interventions and effective skill teaching strategies. I write positive behavior support plans for maladaptive behaviors and train families and staff on the effective implementation of these plans. I am trained in effective planning and implementation of PECS programs, as well as in various Augmentative and Alternative Communication Devices (AAC) for nonverbal clients, including Proloquo2Go and TouchChat for iPad, and the Tobii Dynavox i series devices).
