As Executive Vice President Florida Harbor Pilots Association responsibities primarily are consulting and informing Florida State government elected officials legal aspects, training and responsibilities undertaken by a State Harbor Pilot. Duties include relations with the Governor and Executive Office staff as well as State Legislators both Senate and House members. By far one of the most rewarding and challenging aspects I've ever undertaken in my life to date.

Ships Master

As a Ships Master for General Dynamics AMSEA corporation I was in command and directly responsible for vessel safe navigation world wide, management 33 ship's crew personnel, and timely delivery cargo. At age 28 I was one of the youngest ship's Captains in the American Merchant Marine commanding a billion dollar asset vessel and carrying Pre-Positioned United States Marine Corps military cargo & personnell.
