Some aspects of my role included:• The production of an API in a cGMP regulated environment.• Cleaning (CIP and COP) of process equipment.• Dispensing of materials (liquids and solids) used in the manufacturing process.• Writing Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Test Scripts, On the Job Training Forms, Cleaning Batch Records and Production Batch Records.• Carrying out in-process sampling and tests.• Area owner of a manufacturing module.• Process and Cleaning SME of a manufacturing module.• Liaising with other Departments such as Engineering, QC and QA.• Participate/own/drive Investigations, CAPA’s, Change Controls, Deviations and CI Projects.Some notable activities that I have owned/been involved in:• Cleaning Validation (including coverage testing, IQ, OQ, PQ) of process cleans using CIP and COP methods.• IQ/OQ/PQ of ATEX centrifuge.• WFI system IQ/OQ/PQ.• Decommissioning of equipment.• Audit Preparation and communication with Auditors.• Shakedown, Demo Batches and PPQ for numerous production steps.• Shakedown and Qualification of new or modified cleaning and process activities. • Continuous improvement of several cleaning and processing activities.• Continuous Process Verification and Optimisation.• Start-up of the facility.• Experience leading a team in the Operations space.

I worked here part-time during college. I was involved in the manufacture of furniture for large commercial fittings. Being involved in a manufacturing environment early in my working life was beneficial as it demonstrated the necessity of meeting deadlines within budget whilst producing high quality products.
