Data Migration Lead - EPR Project (Contract)
-
Jan 2015 - Dec 2017
I was the data migration lead for the migration of legacy data from the Trust’s iPM PAS system in use at Stoke into the Medway EPR system already in use at County Hospital. The system went live in January 2017 with over 63 million data records successfully migrated and only 261 records dropped.I developed an extensive ETL process consisting of a series of SSIS packages and SQL routines to extract and transform relevant data from the iPM system to be migrated into Medway working closely with local business intelligence, information and configuration teams as well as product specialists and data migration experts from System C.I also developed a suite of SSRS data quality reports to enable the local data quality team to actively monitor ongoing issues occurring within iPM that would affect the success of the migration to Medway which contributed to the low levels of dropped records seen at go-live.Following the implementation of Medway PAS, I continued to provide data migration expertise for the implementation of Medway A&E system replacing legacy systems PatientFirst and EDIS which went live in December 2017.
