We use the MFG PRO system on a daily basis for customer’s requirements and stock control. Since taking my position as despatch team leader I now have Goods receiving and assembly issue under my control, this involves the control of bought out parts, stock re-ordering and issuing parts in kit form to the assembly department. The job also involves the application of FIFO or stock rotation, inspection of parts both on receiving and dispatching to a visual aid sheet to confirm parts are correct to all pallet specifications. This has now put me working closely with the planning dept and my MP&L Manager on a daily basis.
