  My role is to continue the fantastic work already undertaken by many, further develop and facilitate the implementation of the Netball NSW Statewide Facilities Strategy 2018-2033. The Netball in NSW strategy forms part of a network of planning strategies, incorporating Federal, State and local Government sport & recreation related strategies, along with national, state and local sport and recreation organisation facility related plans. A key focus will be to work collaboratively with our strategic partners to ensure we have a strong awareness and understanding of our current and future infrastructure needs for appropriate allocation of resources.   Council has reviewed its operational structure and has identified the need to focus more resources on improving community infrastructure. I have accepted the challenge to continue the establishment of Councils Project Delivery Group, which will focus on developing systems and controls, processes and disciplines to ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget. Our current infrastructure chart has total value of $55m+ in capital improvements this year and similar values for several years.
