      - While working for Zurich Argentina, I was selected to implement a new version of SAP for Zurich Argentina. We were using an old version of SAP at that time. The project lasted a whole year and some months of hypercare after that.- I didn´t know the new SAP but I knew what I needed it to do. I worked with the IT SAP consultants to adapt all the tables, considering dimensions, impacts, the accounts dimensions needs, all the GL information we would need, preparing all supporting documents.- The most difficult part was the migration. We had GL, reconciliation and open managed accounts and each of them needed a different treatment. Also the currency revaluation was an issue for the open item accounts and of course the volume of them.- As I was in charge of the accounting area, I had to prepare the migration and parametrize about 15 companies. 6 of them were very large and complex. - I had to create new roles based on the transactions that should be available for each user. I created master roles and subroles. - That allowed me to be the SAP referent in my team and also for other teams.- I had to create a BBP with all the details and review it with the different areas to check if it was ok. We need to meet the deadlines as we couldn’t delay de project. Our group head office was pressuring us because we were one of the 3 countries that weren’t using the new version. Show less
