D. Matt Scherer

Stephan represents that rare transitioning military professional in transition who has done well and helped others follow the path from military service to their exodus from wearing a uniform to work. His work to help others through his networking events and consulting efforts is why every military professional who is leaving the service should connect with him.

Clifton F. Clevenger

While this term is often overused today, Stephan sets the example of a servant leader. He is selfless in his care for active-duty military, veterans, and their family members. Additionally, he is so knowledgeable about veterans' issues and all the resources available to them and their families.

COL(R) Jim Signaigo

None is more driven to excel, determined to succeed, and loyal to his subordinates, leaders and the Army as an institution than Stephan Porter. A dedicated family man with impeccable integrity. He is a proven selfless leader.

As Chairman of the Board provides strategic leadership and vision toward the mission of Victory for Veterans (VFV) to support and serve Veterans experiencing the emotional challenges of PTSD, depression, loneliness, anger and others that often can trigger joblessness and lead to homelessness. These factors are partial explanations for the high suicide rate among Veterans, currently that is now well over the 22 per day we've all heard...with inclusion of overdose deaths, the number is now in the 40s! A DAY!! We must do something different. VFV seeks to do just that by... -Providing treatment options and modalities that improve physical ailments and reduce suicide risks. -Connecting the Web of treatment and support through partnerships to eliminate suicides ...and more; check us out, get involved, and support. 2Wonder,LLC (2Wonder) Veteran Services planned to build strategic and sustainable long-term partnerships with businesses who are vetted and committed to hiring veterans. 2Wonder sought to actively seek out transitioning veterans and offer them a chance to enter the civilian workforce on their own terms with the full support of industry professionals. Towards the end of the SkillBridge Timeframe we discussed the potential future for 2Wonder as a standalone entity. It was decided that we would put our efforts into supporting and growing with organizations that were engaged in the same effort and help them to grow. These lessons and experience formed the genesis of what became the Military Community Chamber of Commerce. Show less
