Our Mission: Restoring Hope Reduce suicide among our Warriors, Veterans, First Responders and Care Givers; we help these men and women through Healing and Support. Check out our flagship efforts; Warriors For Life Virtual Community Support Group and our Life Readiness Center initiatives under way! But also our Flower on Every Grave, Warrior Life Rides, VFV Rifle Competition, and so much more! Joined this public foundation as an Advisory Board Member and asked to move to the Board; asked to assume the Chairmanship in January of 2023. that helps other non-profits to serve Veterans (and first responders) in reducing suicides and other issues. As Chairman of the Board provides strategic leadership and vision toward the mission of Victory for Veterans (VFV) to support and serve Veterans experiencing the emotional challenges of PTSD, depression, loneliness, anger and others that often can trigger joblessness and lead to homelessness. These factors are partial explanations for the high suicide rate among Veterans, currently that is now well over the 22 per day we've all heard...with inclusion of overdose deaths, the number is now in the 40s! A DAY!! We must do something different. 2Wonder,LLC (2Wonder) Veteran Services planned to build strategic and sustainable long-term partnerships with businesses who are vetted and committed to hiring veterans. 2Wonder sought to actively seek out transitioning veterans and offer them a chance to enter the civilian workforce on their own terms with the full support of industry professionals. Towards the end of the SkillBridge Timeframe we discussed the potential future for 2Wonder as a standalone entity. It was decided that we would put our efforts into supporting and growing with organizations that were engaged in the same effort and help them to grow. These lessons and experience formed the genesis of what became the Military Community Chamber of Commerce. Show less

Instructed four separate graduate-level, initial entry officer training programs; facilitating student discussion, providing hands-on training and conducting lectures. Responsible for the instruction of leadership, army doctrine and concepts, health service support operations, organizational structure, physical fitness and battlefield skills. Concurrently served as the Chief of the OBC Platoon Leader Track; trained future platoon leaders on the fundamentals of Health Service Support, the basics of leadership, leading troops in combat, and employing their platoons on the battlefield. Concurrently served as the Branch Logistics Officer and Chief of the Field Training Sit; responsible for the procurement of all equipment and supplies required to maintain the initial entry training of over 2000 AMEDD officers annually. Assisted with the development, documentation and implementation of a performance-oriented curriculum and adaptation of the Army's Basic Officer Leader Course format. Developed a highly successful, Officer Basic Course (OBC) mentorship program which served as a forum for newly commissioned Lieutenants to develop professional relationships with many senior Medical Service Corps officers at Fort Sam Houston who could offer guidance and answer questions.Two platoons won honor platoon and produced three honor graduates and the Lynch Leadership Awardee. OBC Platoon Leader Track feedback from students subsequently deployed to Iraq, indicated that the training regimen adequately prepared them for the rigors of deploying to a combat theater. Developed a Field Operating Base (FOB) facilities improvement program; construction of four guard towers and clearing barrels, as well as general carpentry repairs & two hand-to-hand combat pits. Managed the information management/information assurance department; responsible for receiving, managing and issue of orders, tracking all taskings & operational mission support for Army Europe units.Planned, organized & led the battalion's redeployment from OIF I in an immature support network and austere environment; closing out his tenure as the logistics & Movement Officer. Successfully moved 150 pieces of rolling stock, 17 containers & 150 personnel two months early. Led the long-range planning effort, creating the organizations road map reintegration into the training band of excellence. Planned the MASH's post-deployment certification exercise resulting in receiving an externally evaluated top training status. Spear-headed the MASH's planning and support to the 60th Anniversary of the D-Day landings; providing successful medical support to 3,000 member task force.Managed the Medical Task Force operations consisting of five subordinate organizations. Logistics Officer for the only forward deployed, 36-bed, rapidly deployable MASH in the Army. Coordinate and manage the supply of Class VIII medical supplies and medical maintenance support, Unit Basic Loads, and procurements of all classes of supply. Serve as the MASH Unit Movement Officer ensuring the MASH organized, trained, equipped, and maintained for deployment. Provide oversight and staff assistance to two subordinate units and 3 adjacent sister units.Ensured personnel were trained in automated systems, procured a 15 day of supply, coordinated for hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of new medical equipment, and coordinated the 100% deployment of the MASH 78 pieces of rolling stock by convoy, barge, ship and convoy into Iraq in support of combat operations. Improvised use of other medical supplies to overcome a failed medical resupply system and kept critical medical supplies flowing during peak periods of heavy casualties that could easily have resulted in loss of life had needed supplies been allowed to go zero balance.Served as the advance party, operating independently to set the logistic and support conditions for the MASH's arrival at each node; facilitated mission success of the 100% mobile, highly complex organization. Maintained supply flow in the fluid, fast paced theater of operations; constantly had to establish new accounts and new lines of support and contributed to keeping the organization running to provide world class combat health support. Recognized multiple times within the unit for ability to improvise and react to changing situations under constant threats while working in an extremely harsh environment.Supervised and mentored a staff of six logistics personnel (supply, medical supply, medical maintenance); maintained oversight of a six person ground vehicle maintenance section. . Worked directly with the Victory Corps G-4 to develop the deployment and redeployment plans; deployed and redeployed the task force to and from Poland in 12 separate movements by air, ground and rail without error, injury, or loss; facilitated the task force provision of the highest quality health care.Served as a member of the Corps TORCH party (advanced group); insured the task force had a smooth and successful entry into Poland; made initial contact with the Host Nation support.
