I would give my highest recommendation to Stephanie. I worked with her as her professor and as faculty adviser to the Miami Hurricane newspaper, where she was one of our best writers. She's a self-starter with a terrific work ethic, energetic, smart, perceptive. I recommended Steph for several major national writing awards and her summer internship at the Miami Herald, where she did a great job and got some terrific experience. With her talent and personality, I would not hesitate in recommending her for any job in reporting or editing (She was also a copy desk chief for the university's student magazine, Distraction)

Our Outreach and Development department changed completely and began many new programs at the same time. Stephanie was one of our first interns and managed to quickly and creatively develop video presentations, work with media contacts, promote shelter animals with television appearances and set up events for members, media and the public. She used her writing skills to give a new spin to the most routine events. She is personable and charming.
