    • Assistant Branch Manager
      • Jul 2013 - Jan 2018

I started out as a manager trainee. I was promoted to assistant manager a year after with all the accomplishments that lead up to become an assistant. I rent to customers who need a rental for leisure or business purposes or for a replacement while their vehicle is being repaired at a body shop due to an accident. I help the manager with back office processes, like daily reports and maintenance reports. I am on the computer most of the day. Unless, I am cleaning cars to be able to rent them out again. When the manager is out of the office I am the one that is in charge. While working here you are learning how to run your own business. You have to learn how to keep the store up and running by putting people in rentals to what do you do if a pipe breaks. It is a great learning process to eventually become a branch manager one day. I started out learning everything from how to talk to customers, stock the products and ring as a cashier. Then I started to become mainly a cashier because I am fast and efficient and know how to work with the cash register. I know how to work anywhere if the manager tells me to work on something else. On Black Friday, I was Operations Lead, which made sure the store and the managers were on task for the day and I also helped fellow employees out. Many of the newer employees ask me questions on what to do and the managers trust me enough to teach the newer employees. I was a sales associate and received the opportunity to become a sales lead, which is like the store manager but not doing as much as them or getting paid salary. Now I am back as an associate unless something comes up to become something higher up than a sales lead. Show less

I rent to customers and return their cars. I make sure they have the best customer service and experience with their car they rented. I am also trusted to open and close the counter with out a supervisor. I rent to customers and return their cars. I would call USI Alumni. I would talk to them about the Annual Fund that they can donate to that helps the University with funds and scholarships. This job was a three month job for each semester during the school year. I would call USI Alumni. I would teach the other newer employees what we should be doing. I would call different trucking companies around the United States to try and sell them our fleet software.
