Lean Six Sigma, yellow belt training. Constantly finding Lean ways to improve the Central Fill Pharmacy. I am currently working on ways to reduce the human element of spilled pills in the pharmacy and to lower costs. I am also revising and creating new standard operating procedures and the facility expands and production grows. Lean Six Sigma, yellow belt training. Walmart Health Services is a new facility in Orlando, Florida that ships out prescriptions to patients in the state of Florida, as well as Tennessee and North Carolina. We are currently averaging on about 35,000- 40,000 prescriptions a day. At this facility, I train new associates on the proper safety operating procedures that need to be taken into consideration on a daily basis. I train associates on every technician and shipping station, demonstrate to them the proper use of the system, and show them how to ensure that the prescriptions are getting out to the right locations while following standard pharmacy procedures. I identify, create, monitor, and maintain key performance indicators including but not limited to quality audits, teammate productivity, and continuous improvement reports. I make sure that there are zero cancellations on patient prescriptions and every patient is receiving a quality product. I work closely with McKesson Pharmaceuticals and have a deep understanding on how the equipment and software work. I am able to make swift, valuable, decisions on priorities while multitasking. I am also a member of the safety team making sure that the working conditions are up to date and the associates are safe. I recently presented a power point to Walmart corporate office for a contest and won first place. My project plan is currently being utilized at Walmart central fills in the United States. I am currently working on creating a visual training guide with management so new associates get trained quicker and understand the operations of this facility 100%.
