This person also supports the finance department as needed in various projects and administrative functions. ● Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Expense Recognition, Revenue Recognition, & Cash ● Forecast cash flow and collaborate on cash management plans ● Review & support month-end and year-end financial close process ● Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting ● Assess and suggest process improvement both departmentally as well as company-wide ● Implement new processes, procedures, and systems ● Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments and country directors ● Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, budget forecasts, and report variances ● Supervise, maintain, and update ST country budget margins, gap year and group travel program budget margins ● Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls ● Assist in the management of subsidiary accounting & provide support for in-country staff ● Audit and process employee reimbursements, outgoing domestic and international money wires, vendor payments, company credit card payments, etc. ● Functions as a backup to financial team in regards to AP & AR processes and administrative tasks. ● Other duties as assigned and required.
