Premium Tutor and Brand Ambassador

Jan 2015 - Jan 2020
I tutor GCSE and A-level Students in both Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies. I aim to provide a comfortable and engaging tutorial in which my students can grow in confidence and receive the assistance they require. In June 2015, I was promoted to Premium Tutor level for receiving much positive feedback from both students and parents. I was also hired as a Brand Ambassador for the Exeter area for the summer of 2015. In this role I recruited more University students as tutors for the company and helped advertise the brand. Following my success in this position I was given another role in the next academic year to help spread the brand name and encourage more parents and students to use the service.

I am a PGTA for the Introduction to the Study of Religion module for first-year undergraduate students. In these seminars, I teach students the research skills that are necessary for academic writing and work. This includes seminars based on referencing, structuring essays, and public speaking skills. I also mark their formative assessments and provide constructive feedback so that the students have a strong foundation when it comes to writing their summative assessments.
