      Role involves:• Winning new business to improve business profitability whilst ensuring the supplier are appropriately compliant before use• To be responsible for a function that harvests all relevant data from 3rd party suppliers on legislative and environmental compliance• Creating, developing and nurturing long-term external client relationships• Ensuring efficiency by level of cost versus revenue of subcontract portfolio management• Complete audits of tipping / processing facilities of our 3rd party suppliers whilst maintaining suitable records• Setting up and managing compliance procedure for all new customers• Ensuring all relevant documentation is up to date• Liaise with key departments to share best practice and data for compliance, quality, operations and regulatory affairs• Database accuracy and maintain and update a full compliance register for all Subcontractors used• Ensuring contractors provide accurate and timely documents to Veolia to support their activities• Support the National Accounts with data and details of suppliers’ landfill diversion options and strategies• Sourcing additional tipping facilities or processing sites• Assisting with the movement of work to alternative contractors to generate a profit rather than a loss• Ensuring prompt resolution of day to day cost related subcontract issues• Source subcontractors for new and existing services ensuring all paperwork and processed are compliant and up to date• To be part of an environment where teamwork and trust are encouraged• Issue annual supplier price increased and WTN renewal exercises• Assisted with internalisation projects, saving circa £250k in 2015 alone• Internalised 500k in the first year of the International process - Veolia being the first to launch this initiative
