  The Lighthouse Restaurant has been an essential part of my work experience as it has been my very first job. Being an important member of wait staff for over 4 years, I have been able to develop my social skills due to the varied customer base the restaurant experiences on a daily basis. The restaurant provides a mix of professionalism and a family-based culture, making itself one of the leaders in Brisbane’s waterfront dining scene. • Exposure to various POS systems that allow for tracking of customers, orders, inventory and various other elements of the restaurants many moving parts. • Working within a team consisting of other wait staff and kitchen staff. Allowing for opportunity for growth in communications and management.
