I work to allow those who have chosen to create objects as a profession a place to practice, to forge their legacy in a longstanding tradition of the craft movement, and to fuel the research that preserves their memory. I am fortunate to work with highly trained staff and committed board members in the rare cultural oasis of Western North Carolina. I seek to fuel the field with the brightest sources, and to instigate conversations that are engaging and relevant.
