I currently teach 5th grade and 7th grade Social Studies and serve as the advisor for the Model United Nations program. Over the past 10 years, in addition to teaching 7th grade Social Studies, I have taught 6th grade Social Studies, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Literature, and 7th grade Language Arts. Previously, I was honored to serve as the school's Lay Chaplain for three years, and my responsibilities included developing curriculum for and teaching K-7 Religion classes, leading daily chapel, coordinating with diocesan priests to celebrate monthly Eucharists, implementing a character education program, and tracking Middle School students' community service hours. I continue to serve as a Eucharistic Minister and a substitute chapel leader, as needed. Prior to teaching full-time, I held many other positions at the school: I directed the After School Care program, worked in the Business Office, substitute taught in grades K-8, coordinated volunteer Catechesis teachers' schedules, supervised the school's safety policy/plan, assisted in K-8 Art and Middle School Language Arts/Literature classes, taught Kindergarten and 1st grade Art and Technology classes, tutored ESL students, and administered Gesell Developmental Screenings to Kindergarten applicants.
