      Conducted a nationwide HIV-feasibility study facilitated in Harlem, NY. Over 200 participants were recruited to join the study for 6-12 months and agreed to be tested for HIV over the study’s duration. In return, participants were counseled and referred to outside services as needed. Trained incoming staff on study protocol, outreach practices, and clinic procedures. Coordinated events with community partners in the Northern Manhattan area. Successfully streamlined study procedures, and eventually overtook quality assurance and control protocol responsibilities by its completion. Improved study retention rate from 68% to 90% after overtaking duties. Contributed to dissemination of findings by co-authoring several chapters with study colleagues in "Poverty in the United States: Women's Voices."
