Raising $25k from a new initiative with Strictly Ballroom, The Musical• Managing The Foundation’s major fundraising event for the year, Starry Starry Night. Selling 980+ tickets and managing a full show including 10 performances, 2 party sets, over 80 celebrity table hosts, silent and live auctions, raffle, VIP pre dinner function, beauty bar and media•Creating a year long events strategy in 2016 to mark the Foundation’s 20th anniversary

Reporting into the Events Manager.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist in the management of the existing high profile annual fundraising events, Starry Starry Night and the National Centre Against Bullying biennial conference, to ensure the events are well managed, revenue maintained, stakeholders engaged and PR received. • Assist in the management of all events that are either existing internal fundraising, external events, or new events such as expos and conferences that arise throughout the year.• Assist in the management and development of relationships with a number of key stakeholders across PR, event management, design, sponsors, corporate partners, in kind relationships and internal relationships.• Assist in identification and development of relationships with potential high profile personalities and nurture and maintain relationships to maximise awareness of The Foundation and it’s programs, objectives and fundraising campaigns.• In conjunction with the Communications Manager and Coordinator, manage, develop and implement publicity campaigns for AMF annual major events, external events supporting AMF and other fundraising events and initiatives as required.• Review the existing fundraising initiatives in consultation with the Community Fundraising Manager and Database Coordinator to ensure fundraising opportunities are fully maximised. • Oversee the volunteers who assist with event logistics and event administration support.
