Yoko Ono once said, "I just love anybody that does anything in the art world and the artistic world. I want everyone in the field to know that we support them." Bottom Line Productions, we feel the same way. The bottom line is that …we strive to support the arts in all we do. Established in 1993, Bottom Line Productions Inc. is an Edmonton and Calgary-based management and marketing firm that specializes in communications, strategic marketing, event planning, development and media relations. For more than a decade, I provided full marketing, communications, and public relations strategy and execution for clients such as Cirque du Soleil, Broadway Across Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, Compassion House Foundation, and the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival. I also selected, on-boarded and supervised student placements as they took on full-contracts with clients from 2006 - 2015. It's wonderful to see many of the students that I worked with at Bottom Line continue to flourish in communications roles in arts, non-profit, and technology organizations across the country.

Sep 2002 - Aug 2003
When I graduated from the University of Alberta in 2002, I packed my bags, relocated to London and fell into a job at The British Museum almost by accident. Day-in-and-day-out, I would answer children's homework questions, provide directions to lost tourists, and connect researchers with some of the top experts in the world in far-reaching fields of study. While I was at The British Museum, it became HQ for all communications for UNESCO regarding the looting of the National Musem of Iraq. The phone began to ring off the hook with reporters calling from some of the most respected news organizations around the world. That day was foundational for my career in marketing, communications and public relations. I'm forever grateful to the team in the Press Office that gave me a crash course in crisis communications and message management. When I returned to Canada, I registered in the Arts and Cultural Management Program as a direct result of their mentorship and guidance.
