Having Worked with Stephanie in student programming and engagement for two years, as a social media and marketing representative for the entire York University Campus, she with the added support of her social media team were able to increase orientation participation for the 2011-2012 YU orientation by almost double. Stephanie contributed to marketing communications by writing press releases for targeted faculty programs and campus support centers, created several York University Orientation Videos (which received 20000+ views) and developing e-marketing strategies to generate further engagement from the York University student body. She also worked with social media, setting up and monitoring the York U Redzone orientation accounts with Twitter, Facebook, and various other social media sites. In this capacity, Stephanie was our social media presence on the web. She responded to student needs and built an ongoing conversation with faculty and potential students alike. Working with Stephanie was an absolute pleasure and privilege, and would make a great edition to any online social media or marketing team.
