  I was a Consultant for MJP for various projects for four years, from 2006-2010. I primarily edited content and made recommendations for their website, annual reports, quarterly reports, and field updates. From 2006-2007 I also conducted a research project on gender equity and women’s empowerment as a global issue, with specific emphasis on developing countries and special focus on Cambodia to inform MJP staff on how best to incorporate these issues into their community development initiatives. The project culminated in a three-day seminar and workshop including: creation of presentation materials to introduce complex concepts and establish a foundation for gender equity community development initiatives, incorporating United Nations recommendations for surveys and monitoring success.
