Armit Wines is a small, independent wine merchant based in London. They specialise in having a strong portfolio of some of the world’s best wines, for many of which they are the exclusive agents. Their client base is multi channel, but is primarily made-up of private clients looking for long-term investment, high-end London restaurants and hotels, and other trading wine merchants. I currently manage the client reserves service which involves coordination of whole service we offer from the costing and profits involved in the storage, as well as the customer service perspective.I also manage our client broking service for customers wishing to sell their wine on the Fine Wine market. Responsibilities include corresponding daily with these clients, providing market insights and negotiating on selling prices in relation to the market position. Also regularly in contact with new clients who approach us with interest in using our storage and broking services to manage their investments. I work in conjunction with our operations team, trading and sales teams to ensure we are offering the best possible service and that our Fine Wine List is regularly updated and offered to clients. The Norfolk Food and Drink Festival is an annual celebration of local food, local producers and exciting food businesses. I spent four months helping with the organisation and coordination of many events that made up the festival. I also assisted in promotion through local media campaigns, social media and encouraging connections between producers and participants through various channels.
