Planning, Assessment & User Experience Librarian
-
Jul 2015 - Present
I engage library and campus colleagues in developing and deploying meaningful assessment and substantive reporting. I provide service to the library through meeting facilitation, feedback loops, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis. I play a key role in coordinating library documentation for accreditation in several academic departments. I incorporate User Experience (UX) techniques like participatory design, wire-framing and cognitive interviewing into my assessment work to better understand and respond to the needs of our patrons. I love studying public space, too: I've coordinated journey studies and observations of the library that have been instrumental in setting goals, allocating funding and developing programming.
