Nouryon = Formerly known as AkzoNobel As a Senior Project Manager and Process Excellence Expert, I successfully led several projects that drove operational improvements. One key achievement was the full project delivery of a cloud-based tool for Nobian in collaboration with Vattenfall. I led an agile team which developed a tool able to automatically adjust the production rate of the electrolysis process in Rotterdam’s Chlorine plant, providing huge flexibility in electricity usage. With an in-house developed algorithm looking at imbalance market data, this innovation enabled Nobian to participate in the electricity imbalance market, creating a secondary income stream. This project was a pioneering initiative in the Netherlands, and as a result, I gained expertise and recognition as an advisor in this area. Show less

Thesis topic: Definition and evaluation of production test validation methods applied to Vx multiphase flow meters. As a graduate student in Petroleum Engineering, I collaborated with Schlumberger on my thesis, which focused on the definition and evaluation of production test validation methods applied to Vx multiphase flow meters. These flow meters are a relatively new technology in the industry, and I developed new automated analysis methods to validate their measurements and extract additional information from the data. My work led to the patenting of this technique and its implementation in a commercial solution. Show less
