Performance & Quality Manager, Highways Agency Area 10 Asset Support Contract Manager of the Performance & Quality Team, driving contract compliance and reporting of all required measures on the Area 10 Asset Support Contract. – Responsible for the management and maintenance of the Area 10 ASC Quality Management System– Responsible for the co-ordination and management of a comprehensive programme of Audits, including external accrediting bodies, local Highways Agency Service Quality Reviews and national Contract Assurance Regime (CAR) Audits.– Working closely with staff throughout the organisation to promote the prompt and effective identification, root cause analysis and close out of corrective action plans for all nonconformities.– Ensuring that the Quality Management Point system is administered in line with contract requirements, including the development of and reporting against a Quality Point Action Plan to manage the root causes of QMPs.– Responsible for the reporting against the Highways Agency Performance Management Framework, ensuring that all BBMM aspect owners are aware of the performance requirements for their own measures and that they provide the required evidence to the Agency accurately and in a timely manner.– Identification of areas of improvement within the PMF measures and assisting in the creation and monitoring of improvement action plans. – Responsible for reporting against the Business Improvement Plan for all areas of the business. – Member of the Senior Management Team, highlighting performance & quality issues in SMT meetings and provision of timely and accurate reports to the Senior Leadership Team, Highways Agency Monthly Review Performance Report, Network Board and Joint Venture Board.

Construction Management Framework CommunityManagement of partnering initiatives and performance management of the managed works framework delivering Highway projects £500k-£5m in Highways Agency Areas 9 & 10.- Self-employed consultant to the Highways Agency Construction Management Framework Community in Areas 9 (West Midlands) & 10 (North West) - Reporting directly to the Community Board, consisting of senior representatives from the Highways Agency, Managing Agent Contractors (Amey & A-one+) & Specialist Contractors. - Funded by each of 16 Framework Contractors contributing a percentage of their turnover into a central fund to provide management of the offline activities of the Community. - This role, originally seconded to the Construction Management Framework from Nuttall John Martin, latterly employed through consultancy firm Process Facilitation Ltd, was established to provide managerial support to a growing ‘Community’ of contractors working in Partnership to achieve a common goal. - Responsibilities include attendance at all ‘offline’ working groups to provide guidance & support on the goals of the CM Community & the Client. - Regular liaison with 16 organisations from Director to Operative level to ensure the proactive functioning of the Community. - Monitoring of in-year objectives for the CM Community, highlighting any areas of concern for development & assisting with the creation of an action plan to improve performance. - Representing the Community in other Client forums e.g. Procurement Benchmarking, Maintenance Community, Performance meetings.
