As Digital Marketing Officer, I am primarily responsible for management of all academy websites, alongside the trust websites. This includes, but is not limited to, updates, compliance, brand refresh and trust updates. My role is also incredibly varied, further including monitoring academy social media accounts and educating academies on the power of social media when used effectively; writing best practice guides for both social media and web upload guidance; graphic creation and formation of analytic reporting. A big project I am leading on is the roll out of 16 simultaneous websites, to bring in line with the new trust Mission, Vision and Values work that is ongoing. This is to be achieved within a 10 month turn around, from initial discussion to launch, including web build, content filter and move over, sign off with academies and launch. I am collaborating closely with the director of marketing and principals of academies to ensure progress is conveyed and feedback received and fed into the sites, whilst ensuring trust branding is applied throughout for visual identity. It also requires liaising with an external agency for hosting and build progress. In order to achieve the best digital outcomes, it is paramount that I work closely, not only with the marketing team, but also liaise with the academy team the project relates to, as ultimately this is the end user for said project. With all projects, it is important to ensure that the Trust's values and branding are consistent throughout, however that the academies feel listened to and have their own identity conveyed. For this reason, clear, concise communication is important. Outcome: So far, I have massively developed my project and team management skills. I have also vastly improved my web design and building skills Skills: CMS | Brand Awareness | Project Management | Project Planning | Communications | Web Design | Canva | Social Media | Analytic Reporting Show less

    • Freelance Photographer
      • Jan 2018 - Present

As a Freelance Photographer I seek out photography opportunities in my free time, whereby I can expand my portfolio and see the opportunity to gain more exposure of my name and brand. I am named as the official photographer for the South Eastern Shire Horse Association since since 2021, covering their yearly show. This includes covering their main rings and classes, as well as atmospheric shots of the day and trade images. This opportunity has also opened up the door for me to attend the London Harness Horse Parade as photographer also. I also regularly attend the yearly Edenbridge and Oxted Show, covering all aspects of the show from show jumping, driving and ring attractions, to country sports, shopping, other animal attractions and food courts. I have also been fortunate to gain experience at The Billy Stud in 2020 for 3 of their auctions, with images used for their online sales, social media and landing in local magazines; Team Stockade yard for the launch of their new team wear; Hickstead Showground Official Press Photographer in 2017 and 2018, with images used on their web and social; and Bristol Natural History Consortium Official in 2017 and 2018. This has required me to have an in depth understanding of the equestrian understanding, but also demonstrates that I am driven to pursue leads and follow up ventures as they arise. • Dec 2020 - Nov 2022

Within my role as Digital Marketing Office at Active Prospects, my role was incredibly varied. In terms of the digital side of the role, I was responsible for management of social media and scheduling of posts, video production, production of social media content, creation of branded documentation, webpage maintenance, Intranet management and analytic reporting for the previous mentioned platforms. Due to being a small team, the role also encompassed writing press releases, conducting design work, liaising with agencies for external projects, working on internal and external communications, forging and distributing key external contacts, and event planning, management and marketing. Working within the disability sector was a huge eye opener and learning curve for me, and I learnt so much that I have taken forwards with me in a communications and digital perspective. Working alongside individuals with lived experience and other professionals working in the sector, I learnt so much about inclusive communication and how we can make the digital space inclusive for all, something I am passionate about taking forwards with me and applying as I go forwards. Overall, this role enables me to develop a wide range of skills, not just in the digital marketing sector, but in the wider marketing remit. I believe the role I played at Active Prospects developed me into a more rounded marketeer. I built on my personal communication skills, and further developed my written work. As Marketing and Communications Intern at Envision Pharma Group, my main focus was working on and monitoring the social media accounts. This comprised of both organic and sponsored posting and campaign targeting, formulation of a social media strategy and calendar, competitor analysis and analytic reporting. I also managed the company website through CMS, drafted press release copy, internal communications and produced and company employee social media guide. Working within a global company, I had to ensure that my communication was clear and concise, working and taking into consideration time zone differences. I executed and produced a high standard social media policy at an early point in my career, that was then produced and rolled out among employees as a policy for staff to follow as principal. Overall: Throughout my internship at Envision Pharma Group, it allowed me to develop my confidence and improve my web development and management skills.
