As a Post doc scientist at the African Academy of Sciences, I have demonstrated a zero carbon technology that produces onsite liquid fertilizers using Plasma assisted Nitrogen fixation. The aim is to scale out smaller plants in African rural villages to provide much needed fertilizers at a 40% cost lower than conventional fertilizers. At the same time, reduce Green House Gas (GHG) warming from industrial fertilizer production that emits 300 million tons of CO2 to the atmosphere annually.
