I was part of an awesome team to make sure all the members of Indian Society felt at home. One of my greatest responsibility was to organise the safety for Diwali festival. It’s one of DCU’s biggest parties and involves around 300-350 students from universities all around the country. I was in charge of organising the security/bouncers, DCU security and making sure everyone was safe and had an amazing time. My main responsibility was giving the customers a great time while they were in store and helping them with their requirements, everything from CDs to high end laptops. Sales were important part of the business and there were targets to hit each week, so I had to persuade customers to buy the product that suited them and make sure that they left the store happy. Working towards a target in a customer orientated environment developed my organisation and interpersonal skills. I was awarded the best Sales person during the Black Friday sales of 2015 while working in PC World. I had the highest sales in KNOWHOW Add-ons such as Microsoft Office, Anti-virus, Cloud Storage and insurance. I was also the fourth highest in overall sales volume, with a sale of €16,000. Mechaical Design Engineer

My main responsibility was to design and create 3D and 2D CAD drawings for a brand new Biomass Boiler to be manufactured for the UK market that satisfied the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). As a Design Engineer I was involved in liaising with potential suppliers for raw material and acquiring a deal that would benefit the business. Another Project that I was involved in was to create a Temperature Logger for a Buffer Tank that records temperature over a period of time to analyse heat dissipation patterns. Show less
