I worked for Cobblestone Freeway Tours as their Marketing Director for 2 years. They are an Edmonton based travel company that specializes in culturally rich tours to Ukraine and Eastern Europe. My role here covered a wide variety of responsibilities, which required a multitude of skills, initiative, and meticulous time management. My role developed as time went on, and I took initiative on many projects, which brought the company’s marketing and standards up to a much higher level. My work with Cobblestone has ended as a result of the ongoing war in Ukraine. Highlights: In the past 2 years, I've worked with them to expand their outgoing marketing - I created a marketing plan for the company from scratch, and developed it as the company has grown. I have expanded and developed an existing website, and created and published their first, and now second, travel catalogue. My role included: - Marketing plan: creating a marketing plan for the company to suit the company’s needs, and to streamline their outgoing marketing. - Website development - on Wordpress - Client communications - head of email marketing, wrote regular newsletters using Mailchimp to a mailing list of 7,000 subscribers. - Graphic Design - creating graphics for social media, leaflets, posters, graphics for blogs & newsletters - Tour Catalogue - created and published two Tour Catalogues using Adobe InDesign - Event planning and marketing - helped to plan and market online & in-person events from scratch. Included pre-event marketing, data collection, and follow up communication. - Website creation - creating websites from scratch for specific company projects, using Squarespace as a platform. I single-handedly created content, sourced pictures, and worked closely with clients to ensure what was needed was fulfilled.
