I am pleased to work with Steffany this summer at PrecisionHawk. She is very energetic, positive and hard working. She approaches new and challenging problems with patience, perseverance and thoughtfulness. Throughout her internship, she completed her assignments within the deadlines and never failed a task. I would highly recommend her for any future position and wish her the best of luck in her career.

For the 2018 Ontario Provincial Election, I worked at a voting station in Oshawa. During this time, I accepted individual votes and fed them into a tabulating machine, maintained the tabulating machine during the voting period, and helped with setup and tear down of the polling station. Once the polls were closed, it was my responsibility to ensure the tabulations the machine found for each candidate matched a physical count of the votes collected at the polling station. Working during the provincial election was incredibly exciting to me. I met a lot of different people when accepting and feeding votes into the tabulation machine. I enjoyed having a technology-focused position that included machine start-ups, shut-downs, calibrations, malfunction troubleshooting, and data collection confirmation. Taking part in Ontario's democratic process gave me a better understanding and deeper appreciation of the inner workings of an election.
