  In Highftech Engineering, a small company that operates mainly in space sector, I am involved in the development of solutions ad-hoc, according to the requirement established by our customers. My main activities are- project feasibility analysis, re-negotiation of the critical driving requirements, even through co-engineering session with the customer- mechanical design: 3D modelling of several conceptual solutions with CATIA, 2D representation of assembly and interface drawings plus detail of constructive drawing of the components- thermo-structural analysis, mainly through PATRAN/NASTRAN FE software, of all those component that turn out to be structurally critical; iteration with 3D modelling in order to converge- auxiliary calculations, both hand-made for preliminary assessments and through MS Excel and Matlab- writing of annexed documents through MS Office 2016- stakeholders management, in particular with COTS suppliers and internal/external production departments- summing up of the work done during internal meeting and milestones Show less

  Through the "Garanzia Giovani" project, I had the possibility to perform a six-month funded internship by Highftech Engineering company in Modena (Italy). My training has been oriented in acquiring the basics of the company mission and know-how, together with a deeper learning of the software employed: CATIA for 3D modelling and PATRAN/NASTRAN for FE analysis.Furthermore, I faced up with the main issues regarding communication among different compartments of the company itself plus the relations with external stakeholders.
