  I held a critical and diverse role in the Marketing department of The Global Travel Group as the creative lead in managing projects with tour operators, tourist boards and travel agents. While responsible for a team of two junior designers, I oversaw and designed a multitude of major marketing campaigns, annual conferences, bespoke travel agent materials, branding for all new clients, email marketing (using HubSpot and MailChimp), as well as providing vital support and training for clients’ WordPress websites. I was the primary support for the consortium’s clients as well as internal departments, in regard to website support and development, as I was modifying pre-determined WordPress themes - both visually and with HTML and CSS. I gained a wealth of editorial experience leading the design of several editions of the company’s vastly popular travel and lifestyle magazine Beyond, the design of which I evolved considerably.   I began employment at the Untitled™ agency after a short placement and adapted to the roles of website content manager, designer and developer. I was introduced to SEO, HTML and CSS, Content Management Systems (DotNetNuke, WordPress), e-commerce management, email marketing (MailChimp), and social media marketing. The majority of new programming knowledge gained here was gained from self-learning, which has enabled me to build my own complete website using DotNetNuke during a solid 5-week work experience, as well as my own WordPress website.
