Stefan can be best described as an ambitious, driven personality. Always aiming for improvement, and passionate to deliver the best quality of work he can offer. He is not easily distracted from his goal, and isn't afraid to start a discussion if something is done wrong. He is also a nice and helpfull colleage, willing to share his knowledge at any time to a person in need. In overall, when you are in a team with him, you can trust that he'll do everything he can to make the team reach a higher level...

The time that I worked with Stefan was not only a very fun time but also a time where I learned a lot. Stefan is very good at his work and a very good scrum master. He thought me a lot of things, one of them being scrum. Stefan is a very dedicated and persuasive person. He will do everything in his power to improve the projects he's working on. His goal is not only to develop good software but also to make the whole process more efficient.

Working on getting a visitor management application ready to move to the cloud, as well as developing new features in accordance with proper development practices such as TDD and CI/CD (respectively Azure Pipelines and Octopus Deploy). The tech stack is mainly ASP MVC 5 and MySQL, with older parts of the UI in Razor and newer parts in React. Started on a next-generation hospital appointment scheduling system, based on principles such as CQRS and DDD, and using technologies such as HTML5, NancyFX, Knockout, RequireJS and Durandal. It served as a laboratorium to try out fresh ideas and technologies, unencumbered by existing application constraints. I've also worked on the rewrite of the administrative part of an existing application, to turn it into a modern and fresh looking SPA (DurandalJS, NancyFX, Owin) and interfacing it with a new decision tree module. I finished by working on the core application, trying to reengineer it towards a modern technology stack. It was moving towards an SPA (React, Redux, Apollo, React Router), with GraphQL backends in .NET Core; certain parts of the domain are CRUDy, others would benefit from a more DDD/eventsourcing approach. At the same time we were also working on moving its security model towards OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect (using IdentityServer).

I started at Cevi by taking control over a Windows Mobile (Compact Framework) parking retribution application, which was spread out over 4 divergent code bases. Ongoing development was becoming too burdened by this divergence and duplication, so I took it upon myself to refactor and merge the 4 code bases. I am also responsible for adding new functionality to this application, e.g. ANPR and GPS functionality. Other than that, I perform maintenance on various webservices and legacy Delphi 6 applications when the need arises. Lastly, I took the lead in a new 2-man project to port a legacy Delphi application to .NET 4.0 (ASP MVC). In this project I featured as both Scrum Master and developer. The point was to create a web application for registering parking cards for various municipalities. This presented a special challenge, since most municipalities have their own unique set of rules, which all need to be implemented in a generic and extendable software package.
