  • Use Revit and AutoCAD to create 3-D models of equipment such as chillers, heat pumps and VAV’s which are used in the building model to help the designers run their specific trade’s system and coordinate with the other trades (mechanical piping, plumbing, ductwork, fire protection, electrical, structural) allowing for the fabrication of the parts needed in the shop. • Apply dimensions and annotate construction drawings to ensure that the system is hung at the correct elevation and location, to help prevent problems from occurring in the field and less waste of materials on the job site. • Use Navis to publish files of 3-D models to the field to allow workers to access the 3-D model of the building on an iPad. • Draw Refrigerant Pipe systems to coordinate with other trades to ensure that the piping system and hangers will fit into the building without clashing into any other trades while ensuring that the system still works properly.
