Although some projects work just fine, sometimes we decide to make a change, so I joined the BMW Group to be involved in the development of the Gen 6 battery system and, from the perspective of functional safety, this is was very interesting , challenging and a complex project.My daily tasks were creating SysML architecture block diagrams, writing and deriving technical safety requirements, performing FTAs, FMEAs and FMEDAs analysis and planning safety activities according to ISO26262.

At the beginning of September 2021 I started my second project for our client , Volkswagen AG I was responsible with the safety functionality implementation in the development of batteries components. I was dealing mainly with functional safety documents review and CR analisys.

The aerospace industry was impacted by the Corona crisis, so I moved to the automotive sector. In my next project, I was a function owner, responsible with the implementation of some remote services on the infotainment platform currently being developed for the coming VW Touareg.

Avionics Architect - Airbus Helicopters

Starting with September 2019 until May 2020 I was hired by Capgemini to work as an avionics architectengineer for the AIRBUS ETZAG department having to deal with tasks related to H 145 helicopters. Some of my daily activities were: updating the helionix architecture diagrams ; tracking the helionix functions requirements coverage , a task performed with the Airbus digital tools: DOORS, Mantis and Windchill; or working on the flight clearance procedure. From July 2015 to September 2019 I worked as an operational andintermediate maintenance level engineer for the Romanian aviation policedepartment, on H- 135 and Mi 8/17 helicopters. While working for theRomanian aviation police department I used to supervise and coordinateactivities related to the maintenance tasks such as preflight checkups,scheduling and carrying on regular inspections, keeping thehelicopters documentation updated and also preparing the necessarydocuments for the maintenance process.

Drone Developer

I managed to obtain an Erasmus + scholarship during my master studies. For 5 months I worked at Hemav, a Catalan IT company. My tasks were to design new parts for some of their drones that they were about to use in the African desert against the Desert Locust. They rated my activity with a mark of 8.5 out of 10.
