Winner of the World's Leading Luxury Lodge: 2018,2019,2020. Reimagining luxury in the magic of the Sabi Sands and calling the African bush home has been both my most challenging and rewarding task to date. Piecing together every bit of knowledge I have gained and being allowed the autonomy with my management style we truly are striving for perfection in every facet of the term. Being the newest property in the Sabi Sands it is more than existing but rather about creating a lasting legacy that every guest is able to immerse themselves into. Being involved in the Good Work Foundation and Wildlife ACT, I have been lucky enough to be able to be a part of the impact such a property has on both humans and wildlife alike; and the intricate relationship both branches of Silvan hold.

National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World Tatler - 101 Best Hotels in the World Finalist: Tourism for Tomorrow Awards Working in this unique environment it was more than just management as we were constantly innovating new ways and ideologies in eco-tourism which in turn have proven this floral kingdom to reach the excellence it embodies and a world leader in sustainable luxury tourism. Through the owner's passion for the property, it was a feeling more than just an exquisite hotel rather an introduction into sustainable and educational hospitality career. Being an eco-friendly property I soon established the necessary controls with the new added addition of the weight of the environment always contributing to my every next decision.

Conde Nast - Top 30 Resorts In Africa Travel+Leisure - Best New Hotels In The World Tatler - Travel Awards Winner Wild & Wonderful This was my introduction into the Safari industry and the new chapter I faced in my career and I wanted everything about it. Opulence, the finest attention to detail and the atmosphere of being able to show in my management role that I was ready to take on anything I could put my mind to. Matetsi very similar to Highlands House was a new property on the market and was under & Beyond management. My initiation and orientation into this safari logistics company would forever prove to be my moment of truth as I had to become the guest, think as the guest and then curate the experience for the guest themselves. Pivotal in my career I got to learn of the family that safari would become to me. How leading such a dynamic and truly impeccable staff compliment would become my greatest asset in my career to date. Clientele was extraordinarily well versed in travel but again I would not bow down to the new challenge. Rather immerse myself in all that I had known and all that I knew I could showcase as a leader and a hotelier.

Feb 2016 - Nov 2016
Originally a sister company of P&O Cruises in the United Kingdom, P&O Australia previously a constituent of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company and has a direct link in history to the world's first cruise ships. Through my determination to travel and meet new cultures I sailed the Pacific seas adding a wealth of knowledge with every voyage both professionally and personally. The greatest task I had yet dealt with I had to adapt quicker than ever before to my new professional environment. One can certainly say no day was ever the same; as I equipped myself with the highest understanding of time management necessary to tackle my daily hurdles. A completely new systematic format associated with the cruiser liners and the way of life surrounding it proved challenging but yet again shaped me in who I am and how I view the hoteling industry as a whole. I like to think that I learnt and still to this day utilize the "tricks of the trade" in how I go about my everyday as I navigate my way through each property I am fortunate enough to be apart of.

Jul 2013 - Apr 2014
Highlands House was established in May 2013. The property, once a family home opened its doors as a unique high end boutique guest house located in suburban Harare. I was able to grasp and couple the highest level of luxury and attention to detail that makes Highlands stand out as one of the most sought after boutique guest lodges in Harare still to this day. Being a brand new property on the market I was able to be apart of all systematic implementation and see Highlands House "grow from the ground up" so to say. Exposure to very high end clientele so early on in my career definitely molded my perception of the perfect guest experience. Hosting international music artists and sportsmen alike I felt at ease and knew my aptitude for service excellence lay within hospitality.
