  Part of the back-end development team, mainly working with the Laravel ecosystem, Vue and DjangoRF. DBMS that are preferred are MySQL, PostgreSQL, with Redis as a cache and queue driver. Other technologies include Elasticsearch, Docker, nginx and Supervisor. My responsibilities include doing maintenance work and developing new features for various web applications and APIs, doing research on different approaches and documenting existing solutions. Sometimes I also oversee deployments, monitoring staging and production environments. Some highlights from various projects include: - Implemented a high-performance API that integrated with 9 different 3rd party providers - an impressive volume of data is handled daily with an average of 50000 client requests and 100000 queries sent to the providers. With almost 10 millions records being collected inside the database, various work was done to optimize data retrieval, storage efficiency and response time. - Maintained a REST API for a medical platform, enhancing the data model and the performance of various parts of the API. Successfully integrated Stripe and Nets as payment providers to enable secure and efficient online transactions. Designed and implemented a paid subscription system for users. - Maintained the back-end for a document processing application, introducing new features as needed for the front-end. Implemented a micro-service which turned PDFs into a HTML-like format using a 3rd party service. Ensured performance, minimal API calls and efficient handling of large PDF files using an S3-like storage. - Implemented and maintained an accommodation management system that retrieves data from 3rd party APIs and communicates with IoT locks, generating around 200 passcodes per day based on ongoing reservations. Worked to monitor and maintain the system - continuously identified and resolved device failure to reduce error rate and ensure optimal system performance.
