      Bij Ex:Plain bekleed ik de functie ICT Functioneel Applicatiebeheerder.       I work with VOIP telephony, manage asterisk based PBX solutions called IPBM (IP Business Manager). Besides VOIP I worked with our clients to find solutions for their network and configure their systems, from security cameras to file sharing solutions. I work with Linux servers and Windows 2003/2008R2/2012 servers, I managed exchange servers and Vsphere/VMware environments as well. The tasks that I get on a day to day basis are pretty broad, from user support to troubleshooting serverside, but also project based VOIP implementation for bigger companies such as De Hersenstichting in Den Haag or Paleis van Justitie in Arnhem.

      I managed Windows & Linux servers, got to know SQL Databases, PHPmyAdmin, Mailservers that work together with MySQL. My main project was to implement a better and quicker webserver for their collective webshop which cover multiple towns/cities. I came with the NGINX solution and managed to build a seamless webserver that has near to 24/7 uptime hosted on a VPS. Besides Nginx I learnt how to manage Apache servers as well. Additional experience: Subversion, Magento managing, DNS servers, backup scripting, SNORT IDS. Configuring MikroTik devices.
