Arriving at St Bernard's as Teacher of Mathematics I also chaired the Student Council. My contribution to the department through teaching, administration and organisation of competitions and trips was recognised with promotion to Second in Charge in June 2017. My remit of restructuring for a 3 year Key Stage 4 to reflect the new GCSE curriculum and introduce GCSE Statistics whilst simultaneously providing for FMSQ Additional Mathematics was successfully completed. In April 2018 following the retirement of our Department Head I undertook that role to successfully guide the department through their biennial review. Working closely with other grammar schools the staff and students of sixth form have embarked on a Flipped Learning approach to lessons which enabled them to embody St Bernard's ethos of independent thought and study in preparation for university. Subsequently, from September 2019 I have been successful in securing a pastoral year group lead role whilst undertaking the duty of School Mental Health Lead

Using the experience gained while on the European Tour in 2009 I was given responsibility for training of new staff during summer 2010. Since then, I have maintained a profile at the club during school vacation times, most recently caddying for Georgia Hall in the week prior to her 2018 British Open triumph. Professional caddie to Ryder Cup player Andrew Coltart and Taco Remkes before securing a long term partnership with Birgir Haftorsson from Iceland, the 2018 European Team Champion. In a self-employed role I had to coordinate international travel, accommodation and logistics on a weekly basis dependent on Friday's competition "cut". Despite making the cut in numerous tournaments, Birgir battled with spondylolisthesis throughout the season and had to retire for medical reasons in October in order to recover.
