  I got hired here to set up all operations relating to food and beverage within this busy four star hotel in Liverpool. From recruiting to training staff, programming EPOS till systems, menu designing and any other aspects relating to getting the department ready in time for the opening deadline of the hotel. Being in charge of my own department meant that I was running my team independently, to achieve targets and KPIs set by the general manager of the hotel.   I took on this venue as a challenge as it was performing poorly in an outstanding location. I was able to build a great team of staff and create a concept and menus to make it a very profitable and popular venue. Liaising with the Liverpool ONE shopping centre events team to organise events and attract customers, it taught me a lot in terms of large scale marketing.
