► Engagement and Roles The Real Estate Institute of the Australian Capital Territory (REIACT) is the leading professional body for the real estate industry in the ACT. We make representations to government, set and maintain ethical standards, promote the real estate industry and its services, and liaise with organisations such as API, PCA, HIA and MBA. With our mission to enhance the standard of education, knowledge, professional development and business practice for members and the wider real estate community, I hope my 25 years’ industry experience helps the REIACT to continue to achieve its goals. The Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) is the national professional association for Australia’s real estate sector, providing research and advice to the Australian Government, professional members of the real estate sector, media, and the public on the real estate market. With its excellent reputation as the most credible source of knowledge and considered opinion on the Australian property market, I hope my 25 years’ industry experience can help the REIA maintain this reputation. I have been a Director at the REIA since May 2005; and an Associate of the Real Estate Institute Australia (AREI) since November 2006. I was recognised for my services to the real estate industry by being made a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute Australia (FREI) in June 2010. The key responsibilities of my role are to strategic real estate professional focus, lobbying government around real estate policy, real estate training training, increase the standards of education and credibility with the Australian real estate profession, and corporate partnerships.
