- Designed and developed a full-stack location planning and mapping tool allowing Locations Team access to live field data alongside Data Science team modeling results to optimize vehicle counts and locations across North America.- Formatted simulation results in Python script to send from Amazon EC2 instance to Java API endpoint for ingestion into PostgreSQL database. - Created database tables, queried for specific results, and integrated with data from other microservices for display on React.js front-end. - Built front-end with TypeScript, React-Bootstrap components, and custom components that allows users to view current or historical fleet plans for specific markets displayed via open-source data layers (DeckGL), geospatial indexing (H3), and mapping technologies (react-map-gl).- Dynamically updated modeling regions pertaining to 20+ markets to encompass new or relocated fleet locations using density-based spatial clustering. Feature includes ability for Locations Team management to conditionally deactivate clusters, allowing greater control over regions.- Created full-stack feature to allow users the ability to provide real-world information to the simulator inputs. Implemented interactive React front-end allowing users to visualize, review, and track geospatial objects alongside a variety of pertinent information. All user actions logged with activity log service for accountability.- Developed a live key metric dashboard to give Locations Teams greater insight into monthly progress on recommendation adherence.- Other features include priority-based filtering, address string and geospatial index searching, collapsible navigation bar, floating tooltips, collapsible interactive sidebars, and dynamic routing.
