Stan and I worked closely together at APT and CLEAResult for 7 years in his role as Director of Retail Strategies. Stan is a creative problem solver and is always looking to solve research questions with quantitative data. He doesn’t take no for an answer and he utilizes his industry connectivity to work collaboratively and bring value for his clients and colleagues. Stan really is an expert at retail operations, engagement, merchandising, and consumer decision making. Furthermore, Stan gets stuff done. He is a hard worker and an innovative thinker. It has been a privilege to work with him.

I've known Stan Mertz for several years through his role as Director of Retail Operations at Applied Proactive Technologies (APT). Stan acts with urgency and to win - both in his leadership role at APT as well as with his racing operation. I have also seen that Stan has the ability to translate strategy into action to drive results. Mr. Mertz is also a big thinker and balances risk while considering multiple scenarios and trade-offs. Best Buy has done well with our utility company partnerships, and this is a direct result of Stan's support and partnership.
