  I was tasked to transition the High Pressure Oxygen Plant into the DPMT business model. The transition was successfully completed and the plant is now operated and maintained by DPMT. Since then I have assumed the the role for the Plant Manager.I am in charge of the oxygen supply at the smelter for both the Air Separation Units on the site.I also look after the Power Plant which is a Utility Plant that supplies cooling water and plant air to the smelter process plants.   This was a very exciting and challenging time to lead the Internal Projects and Utilities teams. In the projects section we managed all internal project related requirements from inception to the handover phases. The projects varied in size and there was enough challenges to focus on. In the Utilities section we managed the air, water, oxygen and bag houses on the smelter to ensure reliable supply to our customers at all times.Responsibilities included tasks such such as short and long term planning for our departmental targets, budgets, project plans and feedback to customers etc.During this time I also served on the Executive Committee of the company reporting to the Managing Director.   I worked as project engineer mainly focusing on a project to convert an old converter into a Matte Holding Furnace. I did quite a bit of the design work myself specific to the burner and drive train of the unit and fitted it with a nitrogen purging system to the existing shell. I also did other projects during this time which included the installation of a new warehouse.I also then took over the duties of the Utilities engineer on site overseeing all utility services to the smelter
