Renee Friesen, PMP
When Stan joined my team, we were in the middle of outsourcing IT application support for a $6B top-tier international pharmaceuticals firm. He was brought on board to support our short staffed change management team, and was given little training or onboarding. Prior to his start date, Stan asked for as much pre-reading as possible. It was evident that he had thoroughly studied the material prior to day one, as evidenced by the intelligent questions he asked. Stan learned quickly and was able to immediately add value to our team. Throughout the project, Stan brought many recommendations to the table of areas of opportunity he saw. For example, he independently noted a gap in communications to key business stakeholders, and drafted a plan to close the gap. After presenting the plan to the client for approval, he was given full authority to execute. This required getting the buy-in of key executives and helping them to share information with their internal clients. Stan was able to manage diverse personalities to successfully communicate information that would help lead to a smooth go-live. Stan was an invaluable asset to our team and I would highly recommend him. I would be happy to speak on his behalf should additional information be necessary.
