I had the pleasure of working with Stanley in his visit to the Hague Global Center. I recently started interning in the Professional Development Department and Stanley has created a very welcoming environment. In addition, I was particularly impressed of the way in which he dynamically and creatively facilitated discussions and workshops.

I have worked with Stan Burgoyne for 16 years in my capacity as an International Baccalaureate coordinator, educator, consultant, curriculum developer and committee/board member. I count him among the most approachable, intelligent, hardworking and creative individuals/managers I have come across in my 45 years in education. Stan's sense of humor permeates all he does; it brings people to the table and prepares them for challenging work and it diffuses difficult situations where compromise and successful outcomes are at stake. As Stan rose through the ranks from teacher to global manager of a rigorous and complicated program. He established high credibility because, to this day, he works daily in 'the trenches' alongside and with encouragement for people who come from hugely diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and information and ability levels. I have yet to hear a negative word about his capacity to treat all fairly and with deep respect and gratitude. I have been proud to be associated with Stanley Burgoyne over the years, at whatever distances separate us. He is a responsive, caring individual with high expectations about whom I can attest that other educators, managers, and quality and efficiency experts can learn a great deal.
