Stanislav worked for me for nearly 5 years. Calm and resourceful, he little by little fixed the problems in our vast Development, Test and Production environments, and we never had issues with them since. Due to the nature of the business we experience up to 50 times load surge to the systems from time to time. Yet our Prod environment was rock-solid. Stanislav is reliable and solid employee. Just one example. We had to move our Prod servers to a new data center once, half a country away from the current one. Stanislav planned and implemented this complex project without spending a fortune on new servers and with zero downtime. Moreover, he suggested driving the servers rather than shipping them, which seemed to be a crazy idea at the beginning. He convinced the management, then packed and delivered the first trackload of the servers to the new place (a 3-day drive!), then installed them in the rack and switch the production. After that we decided to ship the second bunch of the server despite his suggestion not to. A crooked part of one key server from this second bunch is still on my desk as a reminder that non-trivial solutions (like the one Stanislav suggested about driving rather than shipping the servers) at least worth considering.
