I have the distinct honor and pleasure of recommending Stan Valles. I have known Stan for over thirty years. I first met Stan when he was working in the private security field, and knew right away he had what our country needed, Police Officers that could make a difference with his compassionate and fair personality. I was Stan's Field Training Officer and thereafter worked in patrol with Stan for numerous years. When we started the full-time community policing unit in Livingston PD in 2008, the decision to select Stan for a position within the unit was an easy choice. This was due to the way he always presented himself with the utmost professionalism, empathy, respect for others, and a sincere heart for the community he served, as well as for his peers and command. Stan quickly developed a large network of local, county, state, and federal law enforcement officers and agencies. This network was necessary to serve the people of the State of New Jersey which was much needed. In addition, he excelled in developing a large private sector network of business owners, and corporations. Stan has always been a phenomenal unifier and continues to this day to unify others. Stan's qualifications are multi-faceted with law enforcement, educator, counselor, and a public safety Director, amongst other extremely valuable skills and talents. I would highly recommend Stan for any position within the Private or Public sectors. This recommendation serves as a brief overview of Director Valles's qualifications and unique skills. I am always available to discuss Stan's values and specialized expertise he brings to the table.

Stan and I have have worked together in the law enforcement community for over 20 years. During that time I have seen Stan as a hard working, team player who you can rely on. Stan is an optimist who sees challenges as opportunities to affect change. I have known him to be honest and trustworthy as professionalism and integrity are extremely important to him.
