I traveled to Nicaragua for two months to study ultrasounds with Dr. Jose Crus. Dr. Crus owns a private clinic and sees a variety of patients from pregnant women to kidney stones. I was able to get an introduction to ultrasounds before I began my ultrasound program in Minnesota. I learned different scanning techniques, patient positions, and basic pathology. This was a wonderful opportunity to gain patient experience and expand my Spanish speaking skills. I traveled to Nicaragua for two months to study ultrasounds with Dr. Jose Crus.
